Aside from knowing the type of your rug and how it is made, the another important thing to consider when buying a rug is the design. Are you going for the traditional or contemporary? We have our own preferences but keep in mind the pattern, color and texture of the rug to mull over. Would you go for the abstract or ethnic elements? There are rugs with black and white colors but the most common ones are gold, indigo, brown and purple. And lastly, the texture of the rug depends on the material and quality of the Rug.
